MachineBetter Machine For a Better World

Travis T Freeman

While one visitor reads the instructions for how to become the operator of A Better Machine for a Better World, another does the hard work of imagining a perfect world and three participants make the up machine itself; amplifying and projecting the operator’s thoughts.

The “machine” has three operators and one user. The user of the machine takes the empty seat and silently, with intention, thinks and dreams of a better world. The three operators are there to collectively project and amplify these thoughts and dreams. All components of the machine operate silently and without physical motion. One operator is focusing on creating a clear and peaceful space. Another is seeking to connect the four people in the machine with each other and all the people in the world. The third operator is mentally projecting and amplifying the intentions of the user. Together, they create an intention exponentially greater than anyone alone.
